When it came time to choose a career, Brian found it difficult to decide between professional golf, competitive downhill skiing or classical music. Still in his teens, he realized that he could always participate in the two sports on an amateur level, but music could never really be a hobby for him. As a professional violinist now for the past three decades with Canada’s internationally-acclaimed National Arts Centre Orchestra, Brian’s humorous antics within the group have earned him the reputation of ‘resident clown’ This honorary title quickly brought him to the attention of the world-renowned comedian and frequent guest artist, Victor Borge, who was fond of using Brian as his ‘straightman’, each time he performed with the Ottawa-based orchestra.

A self-professed renaissance man with a passion and enthusiasm for life, Brian’s many interests include juggling, cars, sports, puzzles of all kinds and graphic design. In 1996 he founded the graphic design studio, Creative Designs. As the elder brother and unofficial spokesperson of the Chuckle Bros duo, Brian is finally channeling his love of humor into a vocation - one that promises to “make’em laugh”.

Ron Boychuk began his humorous escapades very early on in life, becoming a tour de force with his older and equally funny brother, Brian. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Ron traversed his way through childhood and on into adulthood inventing games, crafting models and deciphering puzzles.

After 30 years in retail management in Regina, the timing was right for Ron to make his way east to pursue the Chuckle Bros dream. As co-writer with his brother, Ron found the challenge of coming up with a panel-a-day to be a healthy mixture of fun, reward and sheer panic, but it wasn't until their original artist, Ronnie Martin, left in the fall of 2008 to pursue other creative business interests, that Ron found his true calling and has officially taken over the drawing of Chuckle Bros. He is overwhelmed, to be sure, but is having the time of his life.

With his wife, Bonnie, at his side, Ron has dedicated himself to the enrichment of people's lives through humor, all the while continuing to enjoy his other two passions in life - golf and vintage cars.
